The apartment is accessed via a flight of steps leading down into a private area. The front door is key access, and opens into a hall with a rack to hang coats, and seating to take off those boots in comfort after a long walk.
A compact WC/shower room, but with a high powered shower; the tank is three floors up, which creates the pressure. It’s a very warm room, and the towel rail is rarely needed to heat it.
